Video - Gravity Falls Premiere

This show is the next new cartoon that is defying the concept of how cartoons are made by not bullshitting the viewer. I'm REALLY proud of Disney for finally stepping up its game and acquiring a new late night cartoon show that honestly, should really be on Cartoon Network.

It's absolutely on the level of Flapjack and Adventure Time in its design, dark humor, comedic timing, character expression, and even through it's clearly young adult/adult targeted jokes. This is one of them; a "Stan" Scene. Stan plays the Great Uncle to the two main characters, Dipper and Mabel, who are spending their summer with him in Gravity Falls, Oregon.

The first two episodes aired Friday, June 29th, 2012. Check your local Disney Channel listing for repeats, because this is the next best cartoon on television.

Tom Cruise/Katie Holmes Getting A Divorce?!

That's just SO crazy and unexpected! It's not so much stoner intellect news than it is news that I just find intriguing. We all know this is going to EXPLODE all over the local and celebrity news outlets, but WHY?!

Tom and Katie honestly had it coming. When was the last time you saw a picture of the two of then together? Back when Katie Holmes did a guest spot on "Eli Stone" almost 5 years ago, they had been basically freshly married, but she was still pretty much on her own.

Also, I think there's like... One? Picture of Tom and Suri together? I honestly just don't think Tom knows what it means to be a husband/father. We're probably gonna end up seeing Nicole Kidman finally speak up about what marriage was like with him. She really was pretty mum about it all.

On another note; with Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, you see that they took MANY years to develop a foundation, to decide whether it was a good idea to move on together as a family. I actually think, also, that they have found true companionship in one another over the years. They have become each other's best friend/their "other half" if you will.

A conversation like the concept of "working relationships" and comparing it to Yin-Yang requires another bowl, however.

Video: "Phineas & Ferb: Ahhhh!"

One of my many many favorite "Candace" moments on Phineas & Ferb. Ashely Tisdale's got something there with that character.

What I'm Listening To: Alicia Keys' "If I Ain't Got You"

I am completely obsessed with this song right now. Like, absolutely engulfed in it.

The soul of the song screams out exactly what a soulful song tries to say, but for me, the subject of the song; and I'm assuming it's "You", as Alicia sings it with such a personal, tragically adoring passion, is about Music.

The message changes from person to person, of course, but I feel like Alicia's character in the song, be it herself or another persona, is singing about her love of music, and how desperately she needs it in her life, which is why she compares it to fame and fortune and that "divinity" the public puts on an artist, and basically the repercussions for what sometimes being a successful artist means.

Beyond all that, in the song, she's saying, she needs music. Music is her life.

Anyway, that's how I listen to music. Hopefully some of you resonate the same way as me.

Using an App for Blogging

From now on, don't guess whether or not I'm high when I blog...

Just assume I am

I got a new app so I can blog easier. Now I'm like Perez Hilton! Yaaay! (You can't see me, but I'm being sarcastic.)

Don't get me wrong, as a gay man, I read Perez Hilton every day. Religiously. It's actually more of a burden than it is a gift. LoL but it's like Madonna says, "I'm Addicted."

(Oh... There'll be PLENTY more references where that came from. You can count on it!)

Moving right along...

My point is, he can still be an annoying hypocritical fuck. And his grammar and punctuation is TERRIBLE! His website is such a dumbed down blog in so many areas! But you know... I think he actually has a writing staff. It isn't just him anymore who does the articles. Certain articles, in certain categories, are done by other people, because Perez is too busy, or is off in fucking India. They just write with his cadence (or at least attempt to.) but in certain places, I can tell when it feels more like the expressions in his articles seem... False.. Or fake.

Yeah, so this whole "writing like a graphic novel" thing is going to make me hate blogging and possibly bath salt someone's face. (See? Another one.) So you all are just going to have to start reading it with all the inflections in (hopefully) all the right places.

Good luck.

Anyway, I'm blogging from my iPhone! So, WELCOME!
